Luxembourg’s CNS Warns Public of New Phishing Scam Mimicking Official Emails

The National Health Fund (CNS) has issued a warning about a new phishing campaign currently circulating in Luxembourg.

The fraudulent emails appear highly convincing, using official-looking visuals and language similar to legitimate CNS communications. Authorities urge the public to remain alert and verify the authenticity of any message before clicking on links or sharing personal data.

Police have also reiterated key safety tips:

• Never disclose personal information via email, SMS, or messaging apps.
• Avoid clicking on links from unknown sources.
• Be cautious of messages that create urgency or demand sensitive details.
• Check for spelling errors or generic greetings.
• Remember, legitimate organizations never request personal data via email.
