Luxembourg Launches New Push for Digital Inclusion

Luxembourg’s government has launched a fresh initiative to make digital tools and services more accessible to everyone in the country. The Ministry of Digitalisation is inviting organisations and groups with ideas to help people get online and use technology confidently. 

The 2026 call for projects focuses on helping people get devices, access reliable internet, and build basic digital skills. It also emphasises inclusive content and support spaces for those who may struggle with technology. 

Officials say the goal is to reduce barriers and ensure that digital services work for all residents, whether young or old, rich or poor. This aligns with broader programmes to modernise public services and strengthen the digital economy. 

Local nonprofits and public agencies are expected to play a big role in helping people gain skills and confidence with computers and the internet. Support may include training sessions, community tech hubs, and outreach to vulnerable groups. 

The government hopes that by funding these projects, more people will be able to fully participate in the digital world, improving quality of life and job prospects.
