Luxembourg Launches BNE Days for Sustainable Education

Luxembourg has introduced BNE Days, a new national initiative focused on promoting education for sustainable development across the country. The event runs from 16 to 20 March 2026 and brings together schools, educators, NGOs and institutions to encourage learning about sustainability and responsible development.

For the first time, the traditional BNE fair is being expanded into a full week of activities and discussions. The initiative aims to strengthen awareness about environmental responsibility and encourage cooperation between different organizations working on sustainability topics.

The program includes several key activities such as networking sessions for organizations, training opportunities for teachers and educators, and youth-focused events that highlight projects related to sustainable development. These activities will allow participants to exchange ideas and share educational resources.

Students and young people will also be involved through workshops, exhibitions, visits and interactive challenges organised across Luxembourg. These initiatives aim to inspire the younger generation to become more engaged in environmental and social issues.
