World's population is constantly increasing and mass migration to urban districts are happening at a never been seen pace in world's history. Housing, and efficient but happy living is a topic none of us can ignore any more. Tokyo and Hong Kong are already places where people live with some of the tiniest spaces per human. Cape Town, South Africa is soon running out of water. These look far fetched for most people in the western world. But unfortunately this won't be, at least not for long. The population explosion, ageing population, changing climate and weather patterns, and simply too many people "living single" are going to explode the requirements for housing. We in Luxembourg are very much aware of how difficult it is to find housing, and how difficult it is to live efficiently in housing without clutter. A Harvard engineer is trying to be helpful in this strongly emerging problem, stacked housing.
