Luxembourg is a financial center for green finance

CATHERINE KURZAWA, LËTZEBUERGER JOURNAL's writing on Green Finance is published in The Hindu Businessline in India. She writes: "At first sight, Luxembourg does not seem to be a country with strong green credentials. It imports electricity, locally producing only 13 percent of what it consumes, and only 9.25 percent of that from renewable sources. Moreover, it sells high volumes of fuel, boosted by low tariffs compared to its neighbours. This small nation might not gain high marks with environmentalists, but it would be a mistake to write off the Grand Duchy’s ecological commitment.
