Burgers can now be grown in the lab, can cost $50

A range of new technologies are being developed in the agriculture and food space. Investors are investing at a massive scale with the growing population expected to touch about 10 billion people in the next 2 decades. We are already stretching our food system with the longer lives and enormous demand we place on the nature. One of the major causes of global warming is certainly our meat production. To reduce the strain without losing the taste, efforts to grow meat in labs is ongoing. Many such companies are working in this space, including Memphis Meats, Impossible Foods. There was a recent presentation about a Burger developed by Impossible foods that could retail to $50. Certainly the most needed effort in the right direction, and one could look forward for this price to go down drastrically as more people place their right efforts in the right place.
