Does anyone else start the year with intentions or resolutions that slowly dissipate as the weeks go by? Although ‘New Year, New You’ goals feel like a good idea, the reality can often be very different and there is a reason for that. When we only focus on changing ourselves using our mental capacity alone, we neglect all the three parts: mind, body & spirit. Each of the three parts play a role in helping to drive every decision you make and action you take. This half day wellness retreat is designed to re-connect your mind, body & spirit in ways that will help support in manifesting your intention; this is not only about external goals, but also internal sensations. Eunika (Medical Massage Therapist & Yoga Teacher) invites you to drop deeper into your body with a combination of embodied movement practices from Taoism, yoga sequences, meditation, that will help you to move with intention and feel into your own being.
Retreat breakdown:
Please be sure to bring comfortable clothing, so that you can be fully relaxed in the space during the Restorative Yoga practice. You may also wish to bring an eye mask, a pillow & a blanket, as well as a journal and a pen to write down any self-realisations or messages, that may occur throughout the experience.
