Reckange-sur-Mess invites young and old to the 5th edition of the Merlettëfest – a vibrant, inclusive and colourful weekend in the heart of the municipality.
Over three days, the forecourt of the communal workshop will turn into a lively meeting place, featuring live music, cultural discoveries, international cuisine and activities for all ages.

Friday, May 8 – AFTERWORK: music & good vibes
The Merlettëfest kicks off in the late afternoon with a festive afterwork combining live music and a relaxed atmosphere.
On stage:
10:00 PM - Given2Fly (DE) – Pearl Jam tribute band delivering grunge classics with energy and authenticity
8:30 PM - Superdrive (LU) – powerful and melodic alternative rock with modern influences
6:30 PM - Soul Funk Factory (FR) – irresistible groove blending funk, soul and dance rhythms
4:30 PM - BAMMS by Maison Relais – a dynamic and creative performance by young local talents
The municipality will honour its local talents during the Sports Merit Ceremony, rewarding the best athletes from Reckange-sur-Mess of the year 2025.
Food and drinks will be available on site: drinks are provided by Reckenger Musek, while the barbecue is run by Fiederball Reckeng.
A perfect evening to kick off the weekend with music, friends and a relaxed atmosphere.
Saturday, May 9 – MESSTIVAL: urban culture, diversity and creativity
Messtival returns with an even richer and more dynamic edition, turning Reckange-sur-Mess into a platform for artistic and cultural exchange.
On stage:
Maz Univerze – a key figure of Luxembourg’s urban scene, blending rap, metal, emo and strong stage presence into powerful and engaging performances
De Läb – an iconic Luxembourgish hip-hop group combining humour with sharp social commentary
Mutiny On The Bounty – intense instrumental post-rock band with international recognition
Versus You – energetic, no-compromise pop-punk and a pillar of the alternative scene
Morfaz – DJ delivering dynamic, geeky and immersive sets, mixing urban and electronic sounds to energise the crowd
Marcy – modern pop with a sensitive and catchy universe
Blame Emeraude – an alternative project between pop and electro
The Rot – local artist from Reckange with raw energy and rock influences

Sunday, May 10 – MULTIKULTI: flavours and cultures from around the world
The MultiKulti day celebrates cultural diversity through food, music and encounters.
Residents of Reckange-sur-Mess will present culinary specialities from their countries of origin, offering a true journey of flavours across different cultures:
• Belgium – fries, waffles, beers
• Brazil – coxinhas, pão de queijo, caipirinha
• Cameroon – decorations, gifts, clothing, jewellery
• United States – brownies, cinnamon buns, cupcakes
• Greece – dolma, souvlaki, gemista, brizoles
• Hungary – gulyás, meatballs
• Iraq – biryani, warak enab, sasekis, hummus, baklava

Dos Aguilas (DE) – Mariachi band delivering authentic Mexican sounds and a warm atmosphere
Luma – Luxembourg Marching Band (LU) – modern marching band combining music, choreographies, movement and energy
