January workshops registrations are now open!
Get ready for a super fun month filled with lots of cool activities to help kids create, discover, and learn! Kids will be able to do engaging, hands-on activities that will help them develop their logical thinking, coding, and problem-solving skills!
The workshops for kids of ages 4-6 are starting soon from January 8th, 2023 every Sunday.
The workshops open for registrations for January are:
- Intro workshop: The kids will be introduced to computer coding and logical thinking! In this workshop kids will learn basic logical concepts of coding such as sequence, loop, bug and more. The kids will explore real robots and create their own project on Scratch, so they can experience what they learn and build a solid base for underlying concepts of coding.
- Healthy Habits: The workshop "Healthy Habits" will teach the kids the 5 Healthy Habits for life: Eating Healthy, Safety, Hygiene, Feelings and Communication.
- Advance Robotics: During the advanced Robotics course, the kids will meet, play, and explore various robots: Botley, Sphero ball, Primo, etc. while using their tablets and also during off-screen activities. A tablet is required (fully charged) with the App Sphero. (This workshop is open to students who have completed the Intro workshop)
These workshops will be held in 4-5 sessions of 2 hours each.
