CinEast - Central and Eastern European Film Festival is coming back with its 18th edition this October (10-26) - and this year with a new formula: Warming Up Weekend! 🔥

Before the Official Opening on 15/10, we’ll kick off the celebrations early with three days of cinema, music, debates and more:

📅 Warming Up Weekend (10–12 October 2025)

As an appetiser, on Thu. 9.10 we open the 📷 Disruptions photo exhibition at @ neimënster.
🎺 Fri. 10 Oct - Opening Concert with the legendary Fanfare Ciocărlia at Melusina (tickets already available here -> )
🇺🇦 Sat. 11 Oct - Special Ciné-debate on Ukraine with film director & minister present
♀️ Sun. 12 Oct - Women’s Event meets Outdoor Event: screening of “The Last Expeditiinon” + debate on female climbers with director Eliza Kubarska

Think of it as a festive prelude - three unique evenings to get you in the CinEast mood. Then two days of rest… before the festival marathon begins! 🚀

🎥 From 15–26 October, CinEast will present:
👉 Around 100 films from 20+ countries (fiction, documentaries & shorts)
👉 Debates & Q&As with filmmakers
👉 Concerts, parties, exhibitions & gastronomy events
👉 Highlights like the central theme “Disruptions”, Focus on Poland, the Lux meets CEE programme, a special Ukrainian section, and award-winning new releases
